Senior Magic - SEPT 2026

The Academy of Magical Arts offers magic lessons for Seniors ages 55+ on Friday mornings from 10:30 a.m. to NOON. Enrollment is limited to 12 students per session. Students may attend one or all sessions.

Step into the legendary Magic Castle for a one-of-a-kind class that sharpens memory, focus, dexterity, and sequencing—all through the art of magic! ✨

This interactive experience blends brain fitness, neuroplasticity, and sleight of hand to keep your mind and body in sync. Each session offers more than just tricks—it’s a workout for your brain that enhances coordination, boosts confidence, and fosters joyful social connection. Because keeping your mind young should always feel a little magical.

Classes are held at the world-famous Magic Castle, home of the Academy of Magical Arts (AMA), on the following dates: SEPT. 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th.

Classes will be held in the Jackie Oakie Classroom in the Milt Larsen Inner Circle.

Students will be able to purchase and attend Friday Lunch at the Magic Castle after classes.

The magic classes will focus on learning self-working magic effects, as well as the beginning-level application of sleight of hand, misdirection, and personal presentations, using effects learned during the session to amaze and impress their family and friends.

All props will be provided to students upon their enrollment in the Magic University Senior Magic Course.

In their first session of enrollment in 2026, students will receive their own personal Magic Castle tote bag for 2026.

Refunds for cancellations, as well as transfers of classes, substitutions of attendees, or deferrals of class, will be accommodated seven days before the class start date.

Late cancellations and requests for transfers or deferments after the seven cancellation/transfer deadline will result in a Magic Castle credit for Magic University offerings (adult and/or kids classes or Specialty classes) within the calendar year in which courses are offered.
