Magic for Kids - MAY 2025

The Academy of Magical Arts offers magic lessons for children ages 8 to 12 on Saturday mornings from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Enrollment is limited to 20 students per session. Students may attend one or all sessions. They will be divided into two groups of ten to work with our AMA instructors.

Classes are held at the world-famous Magic Castle, home of the Academy of Magical Arts (AMA), on the following Saturdays in 2025.

Card Magic – February 1, 8 & 15
Magic with Everyday Objects – May 3, 10, & 17
Money Magic – June 7, 14 & 21
Mental Magic – August 2, 9 & 16

The magic classes will focus on learning self-working magic effects to the beginning-level application of sleight of hand, misdirection, and personal presentations from effects learned during the session to amaze and impress their family and friends.

All props will be provided to students on their enrollment in Magic University Children’s Magic Course.

A Close-up mat is provided for new students attending Magic University for the first time. In their first session of enrollment, all students will receive their own personal Magic Castle tote bag for 2025.
